Overview

A wording release for the assistant's staking guidance. The Staking extension now sells one of two products, and the assistant's page guide and workflow for the fixed-rate one described the reward as a rate a pool "pays" without saying whose rate it is. They now say a fixed-rate pool pays a rate this platform sets and funds, which is what the Staking 6.2.3 release makes every staking screen say.

No behaviour, setting or figure changes. Requires Core v6.7.6 only for the Staking wording it matches; the assistant runs on earlier Core.

The guide and the workflow are read by the backend when the assistant answers, so the backend restart is enough. There is no database change and no configuration.

The staking guide says who pays the rate

• Changed the staking page guide and the staking workflow to describe a fixed-rate pool as one that "pays a rate this platform sets and funds", to say that each lock length "states its own rate", and to tell the customer that a pool states "who pays it" beside the rate. The steps, the lock-period warning and the early-exit warning are unchanged.
